1950s Pin-up Look!

Well, since I'm a makeup addict in the making, I had to make sure I had interesting makeup for my first video! So, I thought long and hard about the look I wanted. I finally decided to do a 1950s inspired look, with "inspired" being the key word. I love the look of 1950s pin-up models, especially Betty Page. I did a heavy neutral eye (because I'm not a fan of light eyeshadow) with winged liner and a red lip. I love how it turned out! I just wish I looked like a pin-up model. That would be amazing, because they were so gorgeous!

I really enjoyed this look! I plan on recreating it more in the future. =)

    My favorite part: "I'm not a fan of light eyeshadow" Damn right!! =)
    Is the loreal liquid liner good? I've heard about it here and there, but not enough to make me actually buy it.
    Oh and by the way, I had to type in the funniest made up word for the word verification for the last post hahaha

    Haha, thank you! I just had to make sure that was known. I HATE light eyeshadow. Gah...it's so boring. We totally see eye to eye on this subject. =D
    The liner is okay. It's nothing special. I personally wouldn't spend money on it if I were you. The brush is a little on the thicker side, and I would prefer a thin brush for liner application. On the plus side, it doesn't rub off or anything. It's going to stay put until you wash it off with makeup remover.
    Oh my gosh, I hate those word verifications! So pointless... Hehe, what was the word?

    What is a good liquid liner? I really want a good black liquid liner, and then some colored ones. I really want Milani to go on sale...then I'd buy like every color, because your's is sooo gorgeous!
    I hate the stupid codes... I would punch them in the face...if they had faces. Grrr.

    My favorite one is the one by Jordana from Walgreens that's like a pen. Then I like Maybelline's LineStiletto, even though sometimes it angers me!! I absolutely freaking love the color of that Milani one, but let me warn you, it is a complete bitch to remove. It's ridiculous. It's uber uber super super long lasting. I have to spend alot of time scrubbing it with makeup remover.
